Nikki is 9!!!!

That is right Nikki turned 9!

She chose to have a smurf adventure birthday!

We went to the Gaylord to celebrate!

We did an escape room for the first time!  It was great fun!

we had to save the smurfs before Gargamel turned them to stone.

The best part her best friend came to celebrate with us!

The Trombley Family has come to Texas

We are so happy to have more family right

down the road!

My brother will officially be a Texan

So since they are in San Antonio - 

We have to visit the Alamo

We have always wanted to visit the 

Natural Bridge Cavern 

It was really cool - the kids really liked the 

underground adventure

Extra trip to the Alamo

We went somewhere new too!

We visited the Witte Museum to 

see Dinosaur - predator vs. prey and some

other really cool art

Last stop was a quick trip to the Historic Market Square

I have some great memories here and 

it was nice to make some new ones with my kids

Goat Yoga - Namaste!

This was more than we could have even imagined!

The kids got to play with goats - baby goats and I got 

a little work out in.

The babies were adorable!

Jacob was into the goats - the yoga not so much :) 

I got a few to jump up on my back -

let me tell you - you have not done yoga until you

balance with a 40 pound goat on your back

Nikki got a butt massage

Katie was not convinced this was a good idea

All together is my favorite place to be

Cool Dinosaur Exhibit at the Perot

Well if you say Dinosaur the Davis Family

is sure to show up!

This was a very cool dinosaur exhibit at the Perot Science

Museum in Dallas

They had 17 species of Dinosaur that had never been seen before

The kids enjoyed reading all of the details about the 

dinosaurs and where they were uncovered

"I will crush your head"

Very cool exhibit - maybe we will have a chance to go back

before the dinosaurs move on.

Smurfs at the Gaylord Hotel

One of my favorite summer traditions is wandering around the 

Gaylord Hotel in Grapevine.

They always decorate the hotel each summer with a theme

This year was Smurfs!

We got to meet the big Smurf himself

Do you see Clumsy Smurf on the tree?

We found all the clues on the treasure hunt and

solved the mystery of where the Smurfs would go to next

Trying to work and bring the summer fun is a bit challenging.

But we have made a good start to our summer

A trip to Splash Station

Fun on the water slides and diving boards

An afternoon at House of Air

getting our flips on

We had some family come from Georgia and Alabama

and the kids got to spend some quality time with Grandma

Karen and Grandpa Tom and their cousin Katie

We decided we needed some culture so...

we went to see "The octopus ate it's own leg"

Very interesting art - okay a lot of it was weird

but I think we are more cultured... maybe
