Memorial Day Weekend in Houston

We were so happy to have a visit with Grandma Karen and Papa Tom in Houston for a long weekend.  We got to squeeze a lot into our mini-vacation and had a great time.

On the way to Houston, we stopped to have a picnic and take a picture with Sam Houston 

(In honor of the shorter and cuter Sam Houston in our Family)

A quick swim to start the summer off right!

A trip to the Space Museum in Houston.  This was so cool for the kids (little and big)

Lots of fun interactive stuff and some great American History.

(wow, gravity is a lot heavier on Jupiter :)

Then a trip to Kemah, TX.  It has a boardwalk with rides and a fun carnival atmosphere.
