We were so lucky to spend our spring break with
Grandma Sue. She escaped the snow and cold
of Michigan and spent some time in Texas with us.
She was a good sport and played a lot of my little pony
art, teaching Katie to sew and so much more
We made smore's in the fireplace -
it was a little chilly here in Texas too
A little mini-golf to start out the official beginning
of Spring break. Grandma did really good for
her first time
Of course with Grandma in the house there
was a lot of cooking going on. Lot's of goodies and the
kids loved helping
We had an early celebration for Jacob's birthday so Grandma
could give Jacob his present in person.
Yes the cake is a Buckeye Cake
We went to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens to see
the Butterfly exhibit
And walked the gardens, enjoying our sunny days
We took a trip to the Art Museum to do
a little art project and take the kids through the
museum
The we took Grandma on a hike. We went to
the Fort Worth Nature Preserve and saw the prairie dog colony
and the lake. It was a beautiful day to be outside
We had a great time and miss Grandma so much already.
The kids are ready for the next visit!
