We started our Summer with a bang!
Holton Family Reunion in Tennessee!
We rented cabins in the Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park.
The kids (and us adults) loved being able to fish, sleep in cabins,
hike, row a boat and make s'mores.
Fishing was fun - but still no catch for Jacob :(
We will keep trying this summer - new summer
goal - get Jacob a fish!
Katie loved having Josiah as her shadow for the day.
They fished, played soccer, found A LOT of bugs...
sorry....insects
Grandma Sue was there for the day and got to see lots of
grandkids and Bob took her to see Graceland!
Then we took her to the pool to cool off (Elvis was too hot) :)
John was excited to take Jacob and Katie fishing in the boat.
And even got to spend a few hours fishing with his brother, Chris.
The kids got to meet a lot of extended family and second cousins.
But they loved spending time with their Grandma Rhonda and Grandpa Earl.
Grandma Rhonda teaching the girls to hula :)
The girls really liked spending some time with their cousins,
Katie and Emily.
Katie showing the girls a wee little frog and doing some
chalk drawing with Katie.
Great vacation! We can't wait to see everyone again real soon!
