Two years ago I promised Katie we would go to Paris.
So today, with the whole family and Uncle Greg and Aunt Sonja in tow
we visited Paris......Texas!
We visited a lot a great sites in Paris.
We spent time at the Red River Valley Veteran Memorial.
This is a touching monument to women and men who have served our
country since the Revolutionary War.
But the real reason for Paris Texas was the
Eiffel Tower
and in Texas style it was donned with a cowboy hat.
Then a few more stops on our day journey to Paris.
In the Greenwood Cemetery, was a head stone with an
angle with cowboy boots.
This cemetery was really amazing, the history of lives
past really takes your breath away.
Then to Olive Paris, a store that sold olive oil and
all sorts of other unneeded but gotten items.
We missed the bakery, bummer no baguettes.
Then a quick last stop at the Campbells soup factory to
pose in front of a giant soup can.
The only willing to get out of car at this point was
my mini-me, Katie.
Proof that Uncle Greg was with us on our adventure.
Next time it will be the real Paris :)
