Visiting with Family at Christmas Time

I love this time of year and family coming to visit
we are so lucky to have Uncle Bob and Aunt Susan visit
every year with Josiah and Julia.
It was so great to watch the kids play with their cousins
and enjoy some family fellowship time
We had fire in the firepit for s'mores the first night they were here.
The night was perfect.  Not too cold and we got to
stargaze and the kids played flashlight tag.

We tried to think up some very active activities for the
cousins.
So we took them to the Trampoline Park in Fort Worth

They all had a great time jumping and trying to do flips
They tired out quickly

Then it was off to Uncle Bob's favorite restaurant,
Edelweiss in Fort Worth.
About as close as he will get to German food until
he is back overseas.

The best part of the restaurant is the live band
that performs Polkas and the chicken dance to
entertain the kids.

We wanted to get to a Science Museum in while they were here.
The kids wanted the Fort Worth Science Museum but we
decided to go bigger and took the whole crew to
the Perot in Dallas

This was my favorite part of the museum.
I got to be Jacob's lab partner while we extracted
DNA from wheat germ :)
Look at my future scientist!!!

I think the kids favorite part of the weekend was just
hanging around the house with their cousins
and enjoying time playing with them

We miss them already!
