We have been doing some staycation
spring breaking this week.
First we went to the Video Game Museum.
Jacob loved this when he went with Vinnie and
has been asking to go back ever since.

We took the dogs to feed the ducks.
That's the kids in the distance while I sit with the dogs
so they don't scare the ducks
The girls built a fairy village in the back yard
We went on a new adventure
(just when I was feeling there was nothing in this town we
had not already done at least once)
We went to Texas Discovery Gardens in Fair Park, Dallas
It was fun!
They had a butterfly house with a honeybee tree
and a snake house
then we decided to visit the aquarium
The kids even got to pet the stingrays.
I enjoy the slow pace of spring break so much - late breakfast,
no homework, and new adventures
