Christmas Day

The kids had a wonderful, overstimulating, Christmas. Lots of paper flying. We actually started unwrapping gifts at 8 am and didn't finish until almost 6 that night. We let the kids open a present at a time and play with what they got and then when they realized there were still more presents Jake would go open another. It was a really great relaxing day, just what Christmas is for - to be thankful for the family that you have surrounding you. Mark came for dinner and we had a really great time. The kids got everything that they never even thought to ask for.
Thank you everyone for sending gifts to the kids. They loved everything and Kate really surprised me at how much she got Christmas! Jake got it this year too. And if you ever want to just melt your heart listen to that little boy sing "Holly Jolly Christmas"
What a blessed Christmas we had this year! We hope that your holidays were just as wonderful and you were able to spend time with family and be thankful that they were near.
